POSITION INFO:
Our client are seeking a Technical Valve Sales Specialist to join our national sales team, reporting to the Secunda branch. The ideal candidate will have a recognized mechanical or instrumentation apprenticeship or extensive experience with flow-related equipment and instrumentation. A technical qualification (N6 or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering) and at least five years’ experience with manual and control valves or related equipment are advantageous. Key skills include reviewing client applications, offering TCO solutions, proficiency in MS Office, technical sales experience, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with world-class equipment like Actreg, Arca, JC Valves, and more is essential. Candidates must reside in the Secunda area.
  
Education:

• Technical qualification (N6 or N Diploma - Mechanical Engineering Technician will be advantageous)

• Minimum of five years’ proven expertise in working with manual and control valves or similar flow-related systems and instrumentation.
• Skilled in assessing client applications or challenges and delivering tailored, long-term Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) solutions.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a strong command of computer-based tasks.
• Demonstrated success in managing sales calls, providing technical support, conducting product demonstrations, and delivering impactful client presentations.
• Established track record in technical sales with a comprehensive understanding of the sales process and cycle.
• Committed to adhering to high work standards and delivering excellence consistently.
• Exceptional communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively across all organizational levels.
