SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a Technical Subcontract Manager Simulation (Interim) to join their team in the Netherlands.

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:
- Education and Language Skills: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in subcontract management or a similar role within the simulation or high-tech industries.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage subcontractor relationships effectively.
- Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
- Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Duties and responsibilities:
This role is essential to ensure timely delivery, adherence to technical specifications, and seamless communication between stakeholders and subcontractors.
- Subcontractor Coordination:
Act as the primary point of contact for simulation subcontractors, ensuring all projects align with quality, schedule, and budget expectations. - Technical Oversight:
Provide technical direction and ensure that subcontracted simulation systems meet established requirements, including performance standards and regulatory compliance. - Contract Negotiation and Management:
Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts with subcontractors, including milestones, deliverables, and change orders. - Risk and Issue Management:
Identify potential risks in subcontracted projects and proactively implement mitigation strategies. Ensure quick resolution of technical and operational issues. - Collaboration and Reporting:
Work closely with internal teams (engineering, procurement, and project management) to ensure subcontracted solutions integrate seamlessly. Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
