JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job & Company Description:
My client has been operating for over 4 decades in the Mining industry, in both the open cast and underground space. They are expanding their team with a Technical or Site Buyer who will report directly to the Site Buying Manager.

Key deliverables of the role will include all purchasing within the business, delivering an internal procurement service, ensuring that all operational procurement needs are met, negotiating prices, ensuring purchase order adjustments are managed and taking a “total cost of ownership” approach for goods and services.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management
3-5 years’ experience in the Mining industry or heavy manufacturing environment
Must be proficient in SAGE system
