Technician - Harmony

SUMMARY:
An Internal Vacancy exists for a Technician in the Mining Division at Harmony South Mining based in the Free State.
 
The suitable candidate`s main responsibly and duties include, but are not limited to , the following:
 

POSITION INFO:

• Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Electronic Security Equipment;
• Regular communication and development of a good relationship with client;
• Attention to detail on all aspects of relevant responsibilities;
• Adhering to the Agreement between the client and the company;
• Adhering to Health and Safety Regulations;
• Management and Control of Documentation, including Registers, Overtime and Route Sheets;
• Submission of fault reports on the system;
• Available to be on standby if and when required and to work long hours if required;
• Be willing to undergo a Polygraph test

• Proof of PSIRA certification – Grade C;
• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
• Driver’s license Code 08 will be advantageous;
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills;
• Own transport and be able to work in Welkom and surrounding area;
• Need to be able to travel and work as part of a team;
• No criminal record;
• Sound knowledge and understanding of CCTV Systems, Alarms, Electric Fences, Gate Motors, PC’s & Basic IT & CCTV Networks will be advantageous;
• Willing to work overtime as and when required;
• Must be able to pass a Certificate of Fitness
