SUMMARY:
An innovative eco-friendly pest management Company is looking to hire a Telemarketer to join their team in Barbeque Bend, Kayalami, Johannesburg.

The Company has provided integrated pest management solutions to a number of industries in Mpumalanga, Limpopo, Gauteng, Western Cape and Eastern Cape.
Since their mission is to reduce the chemical footprint of the pest control industry, they are looking for a like-minded individual who cares about the environment and is prepared to
learn new pest management solutions in line with our eco-conscious solutions.

This is a half-day position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose:
To set up meetings for sales personnel whereby they will meet the prospect, survey the property, and quote.
 
Requirements:
  • You will be required to email your daily sales stats via email: The number of calls made and how many meetings were organized.
  • A minimum of 30 phone calls must be made per day, of which 90% (27) is expected to result in meetings.
  • Arranging meetings should be done cost-effectively (i.e., 4 meetings in one area per day if the meeting location is far. If the meeting location is close, 6 meetings per day/ area).
  • Calls must be made for all 4 branches (Nelspruit, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth) and logged on the Pipedrive sales software program.
Conditions:
  • The candidate will need to use his/her own laptop but will be given a company email address.
  • How the candidate manages load shedding is his/her own responsibility.
  • A company cell phone with detailed billing will be provided.
  • Reports to CEO.
  • Must be self-motivated and self-disciplined.
  • Must be well-spoken and presentable.
  • Professional communication skills (verbal and written) are a must.
  • The candidate will be working from home after completing induction training (1 month of training at the office located in Kyalami).  
  • The employee will be allowed to have more than one source of income (perform other work) on condition that it does not conflict with the interests of SMARTSENZ® or with competitor companies in the pest control industry.
Working hours are 08:30 – 12:30, Monday to Friday.
 
Incentive:
  • A cash incentive will be paid for every successful meeting organized. A successful meeting constitutes that the prospect requires pest control and is viable for a new pest control supplier (i.e. they are not in a current contract for the next year). Incentive payments will be made at the end of each week after the meeting has taken place and the salesperson can confirm it was a viable meeting.
