Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Requirements: A degree or diploma in healthcare management, nursing, or a related field. Relevant certifications in theatre management or surgery (e.g., perioperative nursing) are highly desirable.

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical or theatre management role, preferably in a hospital or surgical center environment.

• Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team.

• Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of Theatre Operations: Strong understanding of surgical procedures, theatre workflow, infection control standards, and health and safety protocols.

• Technical Competencies: Familiarity with theatre management software, scheduling systems, and electronic health records (EHR).
