Ticketing Consultant

SUMMARY:
Travel Company with offices based in Rosebank is looking for a Ticketing Consultant, the objective of the role is to provide a reliable and efficient service and producing high quality air tickets for clients with no errors or omissions, in order for us to maintain quality and service excellence.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Accurately validate that all relevant information required for the ticketing process is correctly captured into PNR and communicate all errors and changes required to the respective consultants/Team Leader for amendment.
Ensure that no tickets are processed without the correct information, or against airline rulings. Zero tolerance of errors and losses to protect company margin.
Produce high quality airline documents with no errors and omissions.
Assist, support and offer service excellence to the Reservations Consultants and to act proactively to find solutions.
Maintain high productivity by managing workload and meeting deadlines.

Requirements:

Travel and Tourism Certificate
At least 3 year’s experience in Ticketing in a busy travel environment  
Able to produce air tickets no errors and omissions.
Competent in the use of the reservations systems (Travel Studio and Amadeus)
Competent in the use of airfare constructions, upgrades, EMDS, rules.
Ensure notes in Travel Studio are always kept up to date.
Knowledge of company rules, procedures and code of conduct
Ensure payment has been received and is reflecting before issuing tickets.
