SUMMARY:
CNC Toolmaker needed for our client in wheel manufacturing.
Manufacture of new and replacement dies using a variety of CNC and manual tools. Must be able to do CNC and manual Milling and Turning, Spark eroding, Manufacture of cooling, Assembly of dies and Polishing dies. Administration and Quality involves Health and Safety requirements and OSHACT.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILTIES

Manufacturing of new and replacement tools.

A. Operational

Manufacture of new and replacement dies using a variety of CNC and manual

- CNC and manual turning
- CNC and manual Milling (To be trained in process)
- Spark eroding
- Manufacture of cooling
- Assembly of dies
- Polish of dies

Administrative duties
- Fill in time sheets
- Measuring reports
- Compile all relevant accident / incident reports in line with Health and Safety requirements and OSHACT

Quality issues
- Ensure that environmental policy and work instructions are adhered to
- Ensure that Health Safety Housekeeping regulations are adhered to at all times

QUALIFICATIONS
- Education Level: Toolmaker
- Language Requirements: English

EXPERIENCE:
- 10 years of experience in Toolmaking
- Previous experience in Wheel Manufacturing (Advantageous)

Required

- Forklift and Overhead crane Licence

- CNC machine Knowledge

- Die Assembly

- Manual bench work

Desirable:
- Cooling Manufacturing
