SUMMARY:
Toolmaker vacancy is available in the East Rand of Johannesburg.  A completed trade test and 10 years post apprenticeship in a toolroom environment. Must have working experience in Precision Progression Metal Press and Mould Tools.

Minimum requirements and experience:

• Grade 12
• Toolmaker trade test
• 10 years post apprenticeship in a toolroom environment working experience.
• Must have working experience in Precision Progression Metal Press and Mould Tools.

• Produce or maintain metal pressing and mould tooling
• Ensure that tooling is manufactured or maintained according to engineering drawings.
• Assist with troubleshooting of problematic metal press and mould tools.
• Cost-saving initiatives.
