Toolmaker required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in East London , Eastern Cape

Key Performance Areas

• Manufacture, repair, maintain and modify tools, jigs and dies to customer and company requirement.
• Certified Toolmaker
• Skin panel experience essential
• Toolmaker techniques
• Tool, die and jig repair and maintenance
• Communication & decision making
• Experience in metal pressings within the automotive industry
• Repair & Refurbish light and heavy press tooling
• General machining
• Specialised welding [toolsteel / cast iron etc.]

Minimum Qualifications/Experience Required

• Grade 12
• Qualified Tool and Jig maker
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Toolmaker within an automotive environment
• Minimum 2 years tool, jig and die experience
