SUMMARY:
A Manufacturer in Roodepoort is looking for a Toolmaker to join their team

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Technical Certification or Tertiary Qualification (preferred).
• 5–10 years of experience in machining and toolroom operations.
• Proficiency in operating both CNC and conventional machines.
• Experience with various machine types, including CNC milling, lathes, and spark eroders.
• Familiarity with multiple CNC controls.
• Proficiency in Edgecam software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating and maintaining CNC and conventional machines.
• Performing machining tasks such as milling, lathe work, die cutting, and spark erosion.
• Conducting routine and preventive machine maintenance.
• Collaborating with other toolmakers on tooling projects and repairs.
• Handling die maintenance and servicing, including pressure die cast machine maintenance.
• Troubleshooting and resolving machine breakdowns efficiently.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards in Tool & Die Making and Servicing.
