Tracking Clerk

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated Tracking Clerk to join our client in the packaging manufacturing industry. This is a developing role with a probation period to assess competence and eagerness in fulfilling responsibilities.

Location: Ottery, Cape Town
Type: Full-time, Temporary (3-6 months)
Pay: R50 per hour

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and recording of all containers into the depot.
• Compiling and sending daily reports to clients.
• Dispatching and recording all containers from the depot.
• Controlling gate activity and related access activity on roads.
• Communicating tracking and stock related matters with clients and staff.
• Container locations.
• Upholding operational area cleanliness.
• Maintaining records and documentation in comprehensive filling system.
• Handling client queries.

• Matric 

• Physical strength to move tables and machines.
• Strong technical aptitude with basic mechanical experience.
• Strong numeracy skills and familiarity with measuring tools.
• Good attention to detail and learning potential.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• Willingness to work night shifts and overtime as needed.

• Candidates must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Ottery, Western Cape before starting work.
