POSITION INFO:

Investment team seeks a Trade Settlement Assistant to join their team. This team offers their clients a comprehensive range of financial investment and planning solutions. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity within the investment administration team of an established team and is suited to a recent accounting graduate with an interest in an opportunity within financial services.

Responsibilities: 

• Place trade of shares with brokers and manage cash flow
• Open script accounts
• Process script transfers (equity assets/ take-ons)
• Process dematerialisation of share certificates, maintain correct CGT values
• Process dividends and ensure variances reconciled and resolved
• Prepare and collate daily and monthly payments, ensure authorisation
• Support for colleagues, as required

Requirements: 

• Minimum of a completed BCom Accounting or similar qualification
• Previous experience in a similar role would be preferable
• Must be computer literate, with a good level of MS Excel skills (Intermediate)
• Deadline driven and good team player
• Highly numerate with a keen eye for detail
• Able to work extra time over quarter end as required
