Our Client a leading Law firm is seeking a Trades Marks Administrator/ Secretary to join their team in Centurion. They offer stability, market related salary and benefits.
The individual will attend to the renewal and interim maintenance of trade marks worldwide. He/she will also attend to ad hoc changes of names/addresses/addresses for service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Updating the database accordingly - renewal/lapse instructions
- Checking the information for any discrepancies
- Checking of standing instructions
- Liaising with TMC
- File renewals and interim maintenance applications
- Invoicing clients as per standing instructions
- Attending to WIP
- Diarising files
- Receiving and sending renewal certificates
- Receiving and sending renewal certificates
- Attending to diary on a daily basis
- Attending to queries on a daily basis
Knowledge, Skills and Personal Attributes
- A good working knowledge of MSWord and Excel
- Proficient in MS Outlook
- Internal applicants should have a good working knowledge on Inprotech and DMS
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent command of the English language
- Must have an eye for detail
- Must be able to work without supervision
- Good typing skills
- Accuracy
- Able to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
