Trading Accountant

SUMMARY:
Manufacturing concern specialising in refining, fabrication and casting seeks to hire a Trade Accountant to manage and report on the company’s trading activities accurately. This includes handling daily cash flow, balancing metal accounts, working with suppliers, and keeping track of trade-related finances. The role also ensures compliance with rules, improves cash flow, and helps with financial planning.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

• CIMA (Strategic level)

• 5years experience as a Trade Accountant / booking trades (Back office) in a refinery or minting company

• Daily production meetings regarding deliveries and distribution to assist with cashflow allocations
• Cashflow maintenance
• Ensure correct refining fee is charged according to supplier contracts
• Manage warehouse transfers of goods from suppliers to exported customer warehouses
• Cost Analysis and efficiency
• Customs reporting
• Ensure all required customs docus are correctly prepared and submitted – such as certificates of origin, UCR numbers etc.
• Financial Reporting – preparing and providing detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders including profit and loss reports, balance sheet and cash flow statements related to trading operations
