Traditional Thai Masseuse - Knysna

5* Nature Hotel and Spa is seeking to recruit a traditional THAI MASSAGE PRACTITIONER for their in-house spa.

Candidate needs to be able to assess client’s level of fitness in order to apply the correct, balanced treatments.

Minimum requirements

• Grade 12 or Equivalent
• Qualified Thai Massage Practitioner
• Beauty Therapy Diploma eg: CIDESCO, SAAHSP, and/or ITEC
• Familiar with the duties and procedures within a Spa/Wellness Centre
• Computer Literate / Microsoft Proficiency
• Basic knowledge regarding Opera and ESP systems is advantageous
• Basic experience in thai massage, facials, waxing, manicure, pedicure, and spa-specific therapies.

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Must be physically able to perform at a high level for a consecutive 60 or 90 minute massage session
• Demonstrated reliability and references
• Ability to work well with others as well as independently
• To provide exceptional service
• To build guest loyalty by developing a practice in a professional environment
• Maintain excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Professional demeanor 
• Knowledge of Thai Yoga poses
• Experiencing in body stretching
• Assist with reception duties
• Give expert advice about products carried in Mint Spas
• Be back-up for other therapists if required
