is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.
About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.
Position: Trainee B-BBEE Consultant
Stipend: R5300,00 pm
Location: Bryanston (Johannesburg)
POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:
- Manage & coordinate quarterly data collection processes
- Assist in conducting pre-audits
- Manage client files
- Manage verification application process
- Support various B-BBEE projects
- Research & development re industry developments
- Document review for internal and external audits
- Tracking & circulating new gazettes/notices from industry bodies
- Monitor and oversee client’s procurement information on a quarterly basis
- Procurement reporting
- Conducting B-BBEE assessments
- Drafting B-BBEE reports
- Meeting preparation such as drafting and circulating minutes
Required Skills:- South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Must not have participated on the programme before.
- Matric (Senior Certificate). Higher Education qualification will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in similar role (B-BBEE experience or background will be advantageous)
- Strong administration skills
- Computer literate
- Efficient Communication Skills (both written and verbal)
- Intermediate knowledge in BBBEE legislation and related Laws
- B-BBEE technical knowledge/understanding (advantageous)
- MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook
- Ability to work independently, under pressure and according to tight deadlines
- Highly professional and confidential
- Diplomacy and exceptional people skills in engaging at various levels of the organization
- Accounting literate/knowledge
- Strong attention to detail
- A passion and drive for personal development and development of others
- Passionate about B-BBEE and social responsibility
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.
