Training Manager

SUMMARY:
New Vacancy is available for a Training Manager for a 6-month contract, for our client in the Automotive industry based in Port Elizabeth.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Deliver Training Programs: Create and update training content focused on manufacturing, technical skills, and compliance.
• Safety and Compliance Training: Ensure all training aligns with occupational health, safety standards, and local labor laws.
• Skills Gap Analysis: Identify training needs, evaluate progress, and adjust programs to meet manufacturing objectives.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the impact of training initiatives to senior management.
• Mentorship: Lead training coordinators and external trainers, promoting a strong learning culture.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Certifications in Training & Development, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma are a plus.
• Certified SDF

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing, including 3 years in a training or managerial role.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and regulatory standards.
• Skills: Excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical skills. Proficient in LMS, training software, and MS Office.
• Personal Attributes: Adaptable, hands-on, proactive, with strong leadership qualities.
