Tree Felling Supervisor, East London

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Tree Felling Supervisor for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape
 

POSITION INFO:
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 

• Grade 12
• Technical knowledge of machinery and equipment utilized in the industry
• +- 5 years experience in a similar role
• Proficient in both English and Xhosa
• Drivers License essential
• Relevant certifications, H&S, Working at Heights, First aid – beneficial
• Knowledge of various methods of effective tree felling
• To start ASAP

• Managing a team of tree fellers (5)
• Oversee the Health and Safety code of conduct
• Conduct Toolbox talks daily with team members
• On-site supervision – monitoring compliance and maintaining quality standards
• Required to do physical work when required
• Quoting on felling / trimming / load removal
• Maintenance on various machinery used and upkeep there of
• Mechanical background – ideal
• Travel to remote areas may be required from time to time
