SUMMARY:
Our Client is a school and is looking for a Tuckshop and Kitchen Manager. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Tuckshop and Kitchen management
  • Order and Supplier management
  • Monthly stocktake and inventory management
  • Keep weekly and monthly cost reports
  • Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
  • Supervising food preparation and cooking
  • Preparation and elaboration of a varied and healthy menu
  • Catering services at arranged school events, also outside regular working hours


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements: 
  • Qualification in the field of hospitality services
  • Kitchen Management experience essential
  • Experience in the field of retail management advantageous
  • Advanced knowledge of hygiene standards in an industrial kitchen
  • Knowledge of perishable goods
  • Good administrative and planning skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Available for evening and weekend duties (if necessary) 
  • Have a passion for working with children
