SUMMARY:
Are you an experienced Turner/Machinist looking for a new opportunity? Join a leading manufacturing team where your skills in machining, fitting, and hydraulic systems will make a real impact! You will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling components to spec (drawings/samples) and stripping and repairing hydraulic cylinders and pumps.
POSITION INFO:
- Grade 12/N3 or equivalent and Qualified Artisan/Trade Test.
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Experience with powerpacks, pumps, cylinders, and hydraulic schematics.
- Skilled in operating conventional milling and lathe machines.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Strong fault-finding and fabrication skills.
- Bend hydraulic tubing and general fitting.
- Machine hydraulic components with high precision.
- Drilling, tapping, deburring, rethreading and metal cleaning.
- Assist in assessments for quotations.
- Prepare parts for spray painting and sandblasting.
- Ensure quality and accuracy using measuring instruments.
