POSITION INFO:
Job Title: UCS Technician (Production)
Location: Airport City - Cape town
Salary: Market related
Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

A diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aviation Engineering.
Proven 2+ years experience working with UCS systems in a production or aviation environment.

Beneficial requirements:

Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, calibration, and system optimization.
Familiarity with aviation industry standards and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting UCS equipment in aviation production. Ensures system efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards.

Set up, operate, and maintain Universal Control Systems (UCS) equipment used in aviation production processes.
Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of UCS systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure UCS systems meet quality and safety standards.
Calibrate and adjust UCS equipment as needed for specific production requirements, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Document maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting activities, providing detailed reports for compliance and process improvement.
