Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:
- Higher Certificate, National Diploma or equivalent (NQF 5 or 6) in Electrical studies.
- Previous experience in aviation preferred or other technical related experience.
- Own transport.
- Ensure that ground control stations are fully operational and capable of supporting critical missions and remote operations effectively.
Beneficial requirements:- Strong problem-solving skills, basic understanding of hand tools, basic soldering skills.
- It may require occasional travel to field sites or operational locations for system installation, maintenance, or support.
Duties and responsibilities:
The Technician in Production for UCS plays a critical role in the building, maintenance, and optimization of ground control systems used for managing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This role involves hands-on technical support, ensuring that UCS hardware and software are installed, configured, and operating at peak performance.
