An educational software company located in Pretoria East is seeking a dynamic and versatile
UI/UX Designer with 5 years’ experience to join their team.
Job Purpose
Research and analyze platform usage to create engaging user experience and consistent
interfaces that make our software easy to use and delight our users.
Design new and improve existing product interfaces across the entire product offering.
Requirements

• BA Information Design degree

Key Performance Areas, Weights and Objectives
User Interface Design 20%
• Collaborate with product owners & business stakeholders to confirm business
objectives and needs.
• Collaborate with technical leads and product owners in order to design innovative &
engaging user interfaces within platform constraints and technical limitations.
• Work closely with the development & QA teams to ensure successful implementation
of the specified designs.
User Experience Design 80%
• Collaborate with product owners & business stakeholders to confirm business
objectives and define user objectives & flows.
• Build wireframes & convert wireframes into a working prototype.
• Collaborate with technical leads and product owners in order to design innovative &
engaging user experiences within platform constraints and technical limitations.
• Facilitate user testing and evaluate user feedback to further improve the concept or
existing products.
• Work closely with the development & QA teams to ensure successful implementation
of the specified designs.
• Measure & refine the effectiveness of each initiative.
• Research interaction design trends.
• Conduct research on the products and similar products in the market.
• Run effective surveys in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collect data, analyze data, capture and collate results.
• Interpret analyzed data.
• Propose further research, testing, and designs based on user needs.
Remuneration Offered
R 30 000 – R 40 000 CTC
