Utilities Draughtsman

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver accurate mechanical engineering drawings and support to engineers.
• Learn and apply company systems and processes quickly.
• Produce detailed P&ID (Process & Instrumentation Diagrams) and PFD (Process Flow Diagrams) from engineering briefs.
• Create equipment block layouts, pressure vessel drawings, and 3D models.
• Assist in maintaining drawing office standards and 3D libraries.
• Generate bills of materials and maintain drawing registers.
• Conduct site visits for dimensional data and equipment layout planning.
• Support the business strategy, including quality management and health & safety.

• Matric certificate with strong results in mathematics and English.
• Certificate in mechanical draughting from a recognized Autodesk training centre.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software and technical drawing generation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical and piping draughting.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
• Valid South African ID and passport (or foreign passport if applicable).
