Job Description

You should have the following:

• Must have factory electrical experience
• Understanding hydraulics and pneumatics
• Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s licence
• Work on standby from time to time
• Work overtime when necessary
• Experience in a the Plastic industry will be beneficial
• Ensure that all maintenance activities planned or unplanned are performed in an optimized way.
• The aim to ensure plant machine availability and minimise severity of potential unplanned failures.
• The incumbent in the position must take great safety precaution while conduction his duty and working with tools and spare parts.
• Will be working on robotic systems.
• Fault finding and repair of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical equipment.
• Do conversions on robots from one product to another.
• Adjusting PLC programs to optimal performance.
• Servicing of robot systems.
• Reduction of scrap and set-up time on all robots as well as optimization of all robots

The following will be considered an added advantage:

• Injection Moulding experience on Super Master Machines
• Plastics industry experience
• Wireman’s licence
• Speed drives, HT and LT transformers and AC and DC motors

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• N4/5 Min qualification, Millwright Trade tested incumbent

Skills

• Minimum of 3 years as certified Millwright in a factory
• Minimum 5 years-experience working with hydraulics or similar equipment’s
• Must have knowledge of PLC
