SUMMARY: Sales Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will be responsible for:
• Overall responsibility for all sales and stock related activities within defined segments.• Direct management responsibility for the Internal Sales and inventory team in the defined segments.• Develop methods to gain and report market intelligence related to defined segments• Setting and reviewing of sales budgets and forecasts for defined segments assist.• Develop a sound strategy to grow share of the defined market segments• Define KPI’s for Sales team to translate strategy into action plans• Quarterly review of performance management system and KPI’s for team members.• Create development plans for team members and initiate training of individuals as required.• Maintain and manage the discipline of the internal sales team.• Assist with the improvement of SAP procedures and reporting in order to effectively manage customer pipelines (MRP).• Manage all related admin functions within the prescribed quality system to ensure maximum levels achieved during ISO/TS Audits.• Continuous customer interaction to build long term relationships, provide excellent service levels andultimately grow our market share as well as to resolve customer complaints and address customer problems.• Timely notification to Management of any issues that may impact operations i.e. market conditions that may adversely affect our business i.e. financial issues, labour issues and competitor activity.• Setting and maintaining ad hoc pricing tactics in conjunction with sales teams along with the required controls to ensure that the prices are implemented and utilized effectively.
