Vehicle Service Workshop Apprentice - East Rand (Gauteng)

POSITION INFO:
Are you passionate about the automotive industry and eager to start your career as a skilled technician? A well established dealership vehicle workshop is offering an exciting Apprentice opportunity for motivated individuals looking to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in vehicle maintenance and repair.

Duties:

Work closely with technician / foreman and learn
All aspects of the workshop processes and procedures.
Booking in of vehicles and customer interaction
All technical aspects, service, repairs and diagnostics of vehicles.
Ensure full adherence to OHSA.
Work closely and have a good relationship with the sales team, workshop, parts, service providers, etc.

Requirements:

Grade 12 – technical qualification such as N1/N2/N3 (with motor trade subjects will be a distinct advantage).
Code 8 (EB) drivers licence.
Knowledge of MS office / products – excel, word and outlook will be welcome.
Knowledge at Dealership Service Workshop Level or similar mechanical service workshop level a distinct advantage.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Good customer relations and team player.
Medically fit and no crim record.
Must reside on the East Rand or close to the dealership
Own Transport advantageous
