A well-established Underwriting Managing Agency dedicated to providing top-notch care for pets requires the service of a dynamic and enthusiastic full-time/part-time Veterinary Professional.

POSITION INFO:
The candidate should fulfill the following requirements:

Underwriting risk assessment, analyzing risk associated with different veterinary treatment procedures and treatment to establish appropriate coverage limits
Claims Assessment – assess claims, and ensure fair and timeous resolution for clients
First Claim History checks, and non-disclosure process
Pre-authorization verification/approvals of procedures
Training of Underwriting and Claims team with veterinary knowledge
Input into product design, clinical protocols, and system improvements
Qualifications and Experience required:

Veterinary or nursing qualification
Minimum of 3 years veterinary experience
Knowledge of pet insurance would be preferable.
Computer skills – Excel, Word and Outlook
Excellent admin skills, accuracy, and detail orientated
Excellent Decision-making
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and make informed decisions
High stress tolerance and ability to work under pressure with no supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
