Our client, a niche and high-end retailer, seeks to employ a vibrant and creative Visual Merchandising, to take ownership of their stores within their upmarket and luxury stores in Gauteng, with the prospect of the role being extended nationally.
You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION
- You will have completed a qualification in Retail Management or Business Management, coupled with 5 plus years as a Visual Merchandiser, specifically in the high-end brand market.
- You will have proven experience in designing and implementing new programs for retail employees to enhance performance, as well as create, develop and implement all visual merchandising programmes
- You will have solid experience in designing floor plans for display areas, as well as developing visual strategy for stores on a national basis and source props, creative materials and accessories for visual displays.
- You will have managed store renovations, maintenance and in-store décor to create a luxury and pleasant shopping experience.
- You will have working knowledge of budgets, supplier management, reporting and people engagement to ensure employees are well trained and a professional ambassador of the brand.
- You will have Advanced MS Office skills, as well as proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
