WAREHOUSE FINANCE/ADMIN CONTROLLER, Phoenix, Retail, up to R35k, including benefits
POSITION INFO:
RS Recruitment Services is assisting a large FMCG company to recruit a WAREHOUSE ADMIN/FINANCE CONTROLLER to be based in PHOENIX, up to R35 000 including benefits.
OUR CLIENT HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS IN THE RETAIL INDUSTRY SINCE THE 1960’S AND OPERATES A NUMBER OF DISTRIBUTION CENTRES AND SUPPLIES GOODS AND SERVICES TO OVER 1 000 OUTLETS ACROSS SOUTHERN AFRICA.
Applicants should be/have the following:
Matric certificate
Degree/Diploma in Finance
Logistics/Warehousing experience advantageous
Experience in a Financial/Bookkeeping position
Experience leading and managing a team
SAP or similar
Advanced Excel
PowerPoint
Responsibilities – but not limited to:
Financial Administration
Manage expenses and recoveries in line with budget, and reporting of exceptions to relevant departments (report on costs/expenses by cost centre compared to budget)
Handle Supplier queries related to payment
Update processes and procedure documents in respect of claims
Assisting with warehouse annual budgeting and forecasting
Maintain and update warehouse admin assets register
Management and Leadership
Compile Training Needs Analysis for the team
Lead, manage, and mentor the claims team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high levels of performance and productivity
Manage and monitor team performance through the ROI process, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement individual development plans
Implement effective disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring compliance with company’s code of conduct
Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Manage staff requirements by verifying attendance, shift requirements, recruitment and appointment of staff
Customer Satisfaction
Effective communication with customers (internal and/or external) pertaining to claims age analysis
Maintain relations with all relevant stakeholders
Monitor claims portal at current levels

Drive a continuous improvement culture within the department
Remuneration:
