WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR- JHB- R15, 000-R20, 000 per month

FMCG company seeks a Warehouse supervisor with solid FMCG exp. You will report to the National logistics manager. You will be responsible for service-related issues of all equipment (Servicing of vehicles, service of Fork Lift…etc.), procurement of packaging material and training, supervising and appraising of staff, and a clear indication of who they report to (1^st to supervisor, supervisor to logistics manager)

Manage stock and warehouse control:

Arrivals, deliveries, and participation in all-stock counts, best before date reporting, damages…etc. (No admin involved)

Picking of Stock accurately

Packing of stock accurately

Checking of stock accurately (dates, damages…etc.)

Document dates and other relevant information on supplier invoice per item

The signing of bills/arrivals/Invoicing and handing over immediately to the logistics manager

Supervise warehouse staff – Pickers/Packers

Enforce all company rules and regulations, for example adhering to working hours…etc (responsibilities of all employees)

Ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every job

Communicate with drivers to ensure efficient delivery of products

General Housekeeping

Fork Lift Driver

Health and safety training to be completed and kept in place for all warehouse personal 

A clear understanding of the company¹s policies and procedures (example, hygiene report policies, covid-Policies…etc.)

Admin

Completed trip sheet checks and file away

Check on P.O.D’s

Understand all procedures and admin work relating to warehousing (to ensure the uninterrupted running of the warehouse when the logistics manager is away)

Basic duties have been outlined in this document; however, you may be required to perform other duties that may reasonably be expected of you within the Company from time to time.

Min requirements:

Fork Lift Driver’s license

Grade 12

Driver’s license

Own car

5yrs as a Warehouse Supervisor
