SUMMARY:
An Office Automation company based in Sandton/Johannesburg area is currently seeking a Warehouse Controller.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Warehousing

3-4 years’ experience in a warehouse environment, preferably with a warehouse course completed or anything similar such as Logistics.
Working Knowledge of warehouse administration
Housekeeping & layout
Able to assist with stock takes
Computer literacy a must.
Do delivery schedules daily for drivers

Couriers

Liaise with Couriers regarding collections and deliveries
Obtaining of quotes
Assisting departments with obtaining POD’s

Fleet management

Track vehicles daily and ensure drivers are doing what they are supposed to do
Daily checklists completed regarding the fleet
Vehicles are sent for services according to service intervals
Problems are communicated timeously
Communicating with various departments as required

Traits in Person
Good communication skills – verbally and written
Computer literate – Word, Excel, Outlook
Ability to think on your feet
Very much a team player and needs to work well with people
Own transport and valid driver’s license
Good health and physically strong
Able to take on extra tasks
Needs to be punctual and dependable
Technical thinking and having handyman skills is a necessity, preferably someone who has worked in the cartridge manufacturing industry
