My client, a leading powerhouse in the pharmaceutical sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to join their team in Johannesburg East. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of sensitive pharmaceutical products.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire logistics process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring the safe handling of sensitive products.
• Oversee the storage and distribution operations to maintain product integrity and compliance with industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure optimal stock levels.
• Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the supply chain.
• Ensure all logistics activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Implement and oversee safety protocols to protect products from contamination and damage.
• Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
• Conduct performance reviews and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes and implement effective solutions.
• Utilize technology and innovative practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, including metrics on delivery times, costs, and inventory levels.
• Analyse data to identify trends and make informed decisions to optimize logistics operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of logistics software and tools.
• Excellent understanding of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
