SUMMARY:
A position for a qualified and experienced Warehouse Manager has become available within the FMCG sector. The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of 10 years stable working experience. Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience will be given preference too.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and Responsibilities

All HSE requirements, security and facilities maintenance
Full supervision of all Receiving (containers) and Despatch (via courier, local deliveries, collections) of stock
Control daily picking, packing, and dispatching of stock for customers
Packing of stock onto shelves once containers have been received.
Supervision and assistance with SARS and Bureau Veritas inspections
Management of warehouse staff complement of 18 employees.
Full responsibility for stock take, as well as rolling stock counts.
Control over returns, credit notes, swaps.
Will also travel to branches and assess controls, procedures at branch warehouses. (Currently 3 additional branches).

Requirements

Diploma or tertiary qualification in a relevant field
Must have a stable employment history with references
Minimum 10-year experience in warehouse management, FMCG preferably.
Stock holding – approx. R 120m
Warehouse size – approx. 4,500 sqm
Experience of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) essential.
