Warehouse Quality Controller

SUMMARY:
A Stunning Wine Estate is looking for WAREHOUSE QUALITY CONTROLLER

POSITION INFO:
Candidate Requirements:

Grade 12
Must have at least 2-3 years’ proven quality control experience
Must be computer literate (MS Office)
Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills (Afrikaans and English)
Knowledge of the food and beverage or retail industry would be advantageous
A valid forklift licence would be advantageous
Should be detail-orientated and hard-working 
Must be reliable and trustworthy, with sober habits
Should be happy to work on weekends, public holidays and overtime

Responsibilities:

• Perform incoming inspection procedures
• Perform quality control on sampled products in the warehouse; flag and escalate any issues to the quality manager
• Assist in resolving non-conformance and improving food safety and quality systems and processes
• Stock picking and order consolidation
• Perform general stock control operations in the warehouse
• Participate in regular stock takes
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols
• Perform general warehouse duties
• Assist with quality checks at receiving
