SUMMARY:
Are you an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor ready to take your career to the next level? Our client, a leader in the electrical and energy sector, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to manage and streamline their warehouse operations in Durban North.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.
Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and resolve variances through detailed analysis.
Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to optimize supply chain processes.
Lead and motivate warehouse staff, fostering teamwork and accountability.
Identify and resolve operational challenges, including fault finding and process improvements.
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Utilize ERP systems for tracking inventory, generating reports, and ensuring accurate data entry.
Ensure optimal use of storage space and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Assist in planning and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role, preferably in the electrical or energy sector.
Strong experience in inventory management, stock tracking, and resolving discrepancies.
Proficient in ERP systems with a focus on inventory and reporting functionalities.
Familiarity with working alongside 3PL providers and managing logistics.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on operational improvements.
Knowledge of health and safety compliance in warehouse environments.
