POSITION INFO:

Job Summary: The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, logistics, and staff. The role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety regulations.

• Oversee receiving, storing, and shipping of materials and products.

• Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate tracking and management of stock levels.

• Coordinate and optimize warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and efficiency.

• Develop and implement warehouse processes and procedures to improve productivity and reduce costs.

• Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and delivery to customers.

• Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of warehouse operations.

• Manage warehouse budget, including labor, equipment, and supplies.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and meet company goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in the steel industry.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management software.

• Ability to analyze data and generate reports.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

• Forklift certification and other relevant certifications are a plus.
