JOB DESCRIPTION:
Award Winning Digital Agency in Glasgow are looking for a couple of experienced Umbraco Developers to join their established team - Fully remote working on offer. The company have been operating (very successfully might I add) for the past 15+ years and are considered as one of the top Digital Agencies in the UK. They work with an international client base and are known for working with a modern tech stack, and strongly adhering to best practices - they have a really strong technical environment. They have a busy pipeline of work and are looking to bolster their agile team with a few Developers - ideally with good experience using Umbraco and .Net. In this role you'll be actively working with Umbracov7-9, .Net Core, Azure, Azure DevOps and there is even opportunity to pick up modern JavaScript Libraries - so they are looking for Developers that enjoy working with modern tech.Modern tech is embedded into the company's DNA - they are continually trying to stay ahead of the competition and work with the latest and greatest, they've already started some projects on UmbracoV9. In addition, Developers are encouraged here to experiment with new and different technologies - as you'll be given 20% of your time back for personal projects or to study up on tech (a lot of the team go through Azure certifications). You'll ideally have experience with the following;** Umbraco (at least a couple projects). ** Modern .Net (C#, MVC and ideally .Net Core). ** SQL / Entity Framework. ** Working in an agency setting. Experience with the following is highly desirable; ** UmbracoV8-9. ** Azure and Azure DevOps ** Modern JavaScript Frameworks (ReactJS, Angular or VueJS)Their Development team sits at about 15 strong, with many of its members having tenure that far exceeds 5+ years' - which is quite rare in comparison to most Agencies! Overtime here is a big no-no as you'll only be working at about 80% capacity - as they are exceptional careful not to over-work anyone. It's probably no surprise then, that they have a great culture and even through lockdown they tried to keep the team as connected as possible (from weekly football matches, Games nights, Drinks nights and attending tech conferences together + countless more) - something they are looking to uphold.Their office is based in Glasgow City Centre, however you have the option to work fully remote, hybrid or onsite - whatever suits your own situation, they're really flexible. If you match most of the criteria and would be keen to discuss this further please apply and / or call Douglas at Cathcart.
