SUMMARY:

Key Responsibilities

Repair cages and components in accordance with product data sheets and safety standards.
Restore functionality and safety performance of metal components.
Develop innovative solutions for complex welding challenges while maintaining safety and quality.
Maintain tools and equipment in professional working condition.
Ensure a clean and safe workstation.
Coordinate workflow with team members and third-party agents.
Train welders to execute professional-grade welds and inspect workpieces for defects.
Measure and verify workpieces to ensure conformance with specifications.
Lead a team to complete large and complex welding projects.
Oversee workflow, meet deadlines, and troubleshoot issues daily.
Perform general maintenance, including painting, sealing roofs and walls, infrastructure repairs, and small construction projects.
Monitor and report daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance performance figures.
Address and report any misconduct to the Depot Manager.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Grade 12 qualification.
CO2 Welding qualification.
5-10 years of welding experience.
3-5 years of supervision experience.
Basic computer literacy.

Reliable, dedicated, and self-motivated.
Effective problem-solver and decision-maker.
Well-organized and punctual.
