SUMMARY:
A business school in Sandton is seeking a Work Placement Manager to join their team and play a pivotal role in creating meaningful placement opportunities for their participants. If you are passionate about enhancing career readiness and professional development, we want you on our team!

POSITION INFO:

Employer Relations: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with employers to secure placement opportunities aligned with participant qualifications and career goals.
Participant Preparation: Identify, guide, and prepare participants for placement opportunities to ensure they are well-equipped for workplace environments.
Placement Coordination: Match participants with suitable placement opportunities based on their skills, interests, and qualifications to promote successful outcomes.
Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing mentorship and guidance to participants throughout their placements, ensuring they are supported every step of the way.
Progress Monitoring: Monitor, evaluate, and report on the progress and outcomes of placements to ensure successful completion of programmes.
Workplace Mentor Support: Collaborate with workplace mentors to provide them with the resources, training, and support needed for a successful mentoring experience.
Issue Resolution: Address any issues or challenges that arise during placements, working with all parties to find effective solutions.
Training Workshops: Organize workshops and training sessions for both participants and workplace mentors to set clear expectations and ensure success.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of placements, participant progress, and placement outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

Postgraduate degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
Proven experience in coordinating placement programs or similar roles within education or vocational training.
Strong understanding of the job market and employer needs.
