About the Role:
Hominum Solutions is recruiting a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Foreman for our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Germiston. This position requires an individual with strong leadership skills, extensive workshop management experience, and a hands-on approach to overseeing production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of 30 employees, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
Delegate tasks efficiently across different departments, ensuring clear communication and smooth workflow.
Oversee stock control and manage stock controllers to maintain inventory levels and resolve discrepancies.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the production process, implementing solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Ensure production processes are running smoothly and deadlines are met.
Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment within the workshop.
Maintain accurate records of daily production activities, performance metrics, and inventory control.
Train, mentor, and provide support to team members to improve skills and productivity.
Requirements:

5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar workshop management role.
Proven ability to manage and delegate tasks across various departments effectively.
Strong experience in stock control and inventory management.
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve production bottlenecks.
Millwright qualification or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
