POSITION INFO:

Job description:
Ensure Factory Profitability: Drive overall profitability of the factory by managing financial performance and resource allocation
Manage Inventory Control: Oversee stock management, ensure timely replenishment, and conduct accurate inventory counts
Account for Financial Metrics: Be responsible for monitoring and improving factory Gross Profit (GP%) and Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA)
Increase Sales: Expand sales through networking and in-depth product knowledge to build customer relationships.
Enhance Digital Presence: Boost sales by developing and maintaining the company website and updating the product catalogue
Lead and Develop Staff: Lead factory personnel, fostering a high-performance team environment through effective leadership and development strategies
Oversee Billing Processes: Supervise the invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Conduct Technical Evaluations: Perform technical reviews of work orders to maintain standards and ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure the factory upholds high standards of quality control through rigorous monitoring and improvement processes
Optimize Operations: Streamline factory operations, and plan for asset management and replacement to maximize efficiency and productivity
Implement Maintenance Plans: Create and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime

Skills & Experience:
Over 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required, with essential expertise in steelwork
 
Qualification:
Ndip/ BSc/ BEng/ BTech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferable; postgraduate studies are advantageous
