POSITION INFO:
Job Summary: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of the plastic piping HDPE extrusion machines. This role ensures the efficiency and reliability of manufacturing processes by leading a skilled maintenance team, implementing preventative maintenance programs, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the maintenance team, ensuring all staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties efficiently.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifecycle of machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in injection moulding equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to production schedules.
• Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective maintenance operations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance team, promoting best practices and innovative solutions.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, specifically in injection moulding.
• Strong knowledge of injection moulding machinery, including troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a maintenance team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in implementing preventative maintenance strategies and managing maintenance budgets.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic background.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and PLC ladder drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.

• Full-time position.
• May require occasional weekend or evening work.
• On-call availability for emergency maintenance issues.
