Workshop Manager

POSITION INFO:

Diploma in business management, MS Office, Qualified Verification Officer

5 years FMCG experience

3 - 5 years knowledge in retail scales and weights and measures

2 years management experience

Schedule daily routes for the individual technicians within their predetermined area, for repairs, deliveries, or any service-related call outs.
Provide support and guidance for technicians on installations, maintenance, and on basic weighing equipment.
Install /assist with installing software for new stores.
Provide / delegate the provision of online support to customer and / or technicians.
Maintain a monthly tools checklist finished and filed by the first Friday of each month. (Laptops, cell phone and stock holding as well)

Ensure all technicians are equipped with the correct tools, to perform their given jobs.

Ensure new tools are ordered timeously and correctly allocated so that the service technician can perform his/her duties

Assist with setup and Installation of all wrappers and wrapping equipment.

Oversee all quotes on repairs and service work for all wrapping equipment.

Maintaining a set GP% on Spares used for service work.
Assist Helpdesk to ensure technicians are attending to customer incidents.
Ensure that site visit reports, job cards and verifications are completed for each store to ensure we meet SLA’s.
Ensure records are kept for servicing of equipment at non-SLA stores.
Liaise with Lead VO to make sure that verifications are up to date.
Coordinate standby technicians over weekends and assist where required to ensure that customers incidents are addressed timeously.
Conduct Performance reviews and monitor Technicians KPI''''s.
Review the Job card register & Spares registers.
Conduct staff training.
Resolve customer queries / complaints.
Assist will international dial in support to distributors etc.
