My client, who specializes in FMCG (Fresh Produce) is looking for a workshop supervisor to join their dynamic team

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Must have completed Grade 12
• Diploma in a specialized trade such as fitter and turner, Boiler maker, Electrician, Plumber, Welder or Mechanics
• Must have a valid driver's license - PDP will be advantageous
• Forklift license also and advantage
• Must have 5 years working experience in a similar role/environment
• Must have 2 years working experience in people management, overseeing interns, learners and assistants
• Prepare, supervise and control workshop activities and schedule work in the workshop
• Diagnose all packhouse concerns
• Ensure resources are available to meet production requests
• Administer stock
• Conduct investigations and checks in the workshop
• Assist with deliveries and collections
• Assist with onsite machine installations and maintenance
• Perform inspections and repairs of machinery to ensure proper performance
• Oversee maintenance specialists schedules
• Adherence to Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations, Health and Safety rules and procedures of the workplace
• Working hours will be Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:00 and Saturday 07:00 - 12:00
