Job Description:

An energy solution company seeks an External Sales Representative who can effectively generate new business, foster relationships with key clients, and drive revenue growth. The representative would need a deep understanding of energy products and services, as well as industry trends, to effectively communicate solutions tailored to client needs. Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to meet sales targets and manage a sales pipeline. Experience in the energy sector or related industries, coupled with a proactive approach to customer service, would be highly valued. Additionally, the role would require the ability to collaborate with internal teams and ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Responsibilities:

• Increase sales by acquiring new and maintaining existing
customer accounts.
• Provide customers with product support and technical advice.
• Regularly conduct customer visits
• Address product complaints and warranty claims
• Generate weekly reports on weekly deliverables.
• Maintain healthy relations with external clients.

Experience:

• Attention to detail.
• Good customer service
• Professional communication and people skills at all
organizational levels, demonstrating an ability to develop and
grow good customer and internal relationships and is detailoriented,
• A passion for selling and generating new business,
• Strong negotiation skills with good commercial acumen,
• A result-oriented problem solver, with proven numeracy and
computer literacy (MS Office)
• Battery technical knowledge
• Automotive replacement parts market knowledge
• Knowledge of solar power systems and products would be
• Well-organised
• Self-motivated
advantageous.
• Certified electrical qualification would be advantageous.

Qualifications:

• National Senior Certificate/ Equivalent qualification
• Electrical Engineering/ Auto-electrical qualification
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar position
