Yard Manager (Isipingo)

YARD MANAGER- Durban South

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, incumbent will be response for managing and controlling yard staff, stock, trucks, quality safety.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

• Matric
• 3 years’ experience in formwork / construction industry
• Communication skills
• Leadership and management skills
• SHEQ experience
• Ser-starter
• Driver's licence/ own transport
• Computer literate: Excel, Word, Outlook
• Ability to work under pressure

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

• Managing of yard staff
• Effective utilization of transport
• Manage health and safety
• Stock control
• Oversee the workshop processes and meet deadlines
• Co-ordinate the preparing, sorting, and stacking of yard stock holding, for stock takes.
